Next week The Edinburgh Quartet will present The First World War 1914-1918, a programme commemorating the centenary of The Great War and demonstrating the contrasting musical languages of Stravinsky, Elgar and Bartók who were active composers at that time.  Ron Butlin will provide the literary context by reciting selected War Poems.
