EQ: Revolution!

Rev FrontTo mark the centenary of the Russian Revolution, the EQ presents this programme which acknowledges the direct impact of Russian politics on Shostakovich and which also looks at Mozart’s quartet writing at the time of the French Revolution. The EQ will also be revelling in the daring spirit of Beethoven’s String Quartet Op. 59 No. 3, which still shocks listeners today!
