EDINBURGH QUARTET TRUST Recognised Scottish Charity Number SC023256
TRISTAN GURNEY | PHILIP BURRIN | MICHAEL BEESTON | MARK BAILEY

The EDINBURGH QUARTET, uniquely dedicated to chamber music in Scotland, is developing an innovative and energetic programme of concerts throughout the nation. In wide-ranging tours of main cities and remoter areas, it mixes performances of the great classics with new work by the most exciting of contemporary composers.

Collaborations in the theatre with dance (Tabula Rasa and Scottish Ballet) and with Scottish traditional music (performances and recordings with Martyn Bennett and with Lindsay Davidson - Scottish Smallpipes and Border Pipes) are being followed by rock and jazz-based initiatives in public and educational initiatives with Napier University, Edinburgh.

The Edinburgh Quartet is grateful to all those organisations and individuals whose continued support, interest and friendship makes possible the very wide range of activity undertaken by the players in Scotland and beyond.
